The Acting Head

Presentation skills

The Acting Head offers middle and senior leaders the chance to develop their presentation and communication skills through lively, confidence-boosting workshops. Designed for those in education, these sessions blend professionalism with creativity to help leaders speak with clarity, authenticity and impact. Through engaging activities in speechwriting, public speaking and digital storytelling, participants learn to craft messages that resonate and present with confidence in any setting.

Faith’s work is rooted in warmth, humour and genuine connection, creating a safe space for leaders to build self-esteem and silence the imposter syndrome that often creeps into school leadership. Her approach leaves participants feeling empowered, uplifted and ready to communicate with confidence and joy.

What It Involves

Group or one-to-one sessions delivered in person in a suitable space in your school. Online sessions are also possible, depending on the scope of the work.

Clear, authentic and impactful written or spoken communication is key in school leadership. This programme, usually offered as a course of three sessions, guides participants through a variety of techniques to support them in effectively reaching their audience through the written word. The programme can also be offered as a one off session, focusing on a specific piece of writing, such as an open event speech or school video script.

I had two brilliant workshops with Faith. Across both of them, we worked on a range of different techniques to help with my delivery of a presentation and broader public speaking skills. Faith was great at advising on all manner of presentation skills and I have already found my confidence has grown.
